Incident Report Statistics:

Between 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, and 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, patrol officers responded to 65 complaints.

Arrests/Summonses:

On Sept. 27 — 8:48 a.m., 15-year-old Sumner female was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld with criminal mischief on Forest Avenue. Juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.

On Sept. 27 — 4:25 p.m., Jacob Ortiz, 31, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard on River Street on a warrant for failure to appear for theft. Ortiz posted $150 cash bail and was released.

On Sept. 29 — 8:15 p.m., 17-year-old Mexico male was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with burglary of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Waldo Street. Juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.

On Sept. 30 — 11:11 p.m., Michelle Dias, 27, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Cumberland Street with violating conditions of release. Dias was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.

On Oct. 1 — 9:42 p.m., Kathleen Wilson, 46, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Donald Miller on Hartford Street with violating conditions of release. Wilson was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.

Burglary:

On Sept. 27 — 9:30 a.m., Cpl. Maifeld investigated an incident where someone entered a residence on Spruce Street and stole medication.

On Sept. 29 — 12:39 p.m., Cpl. Maifeld investigated an incident where someone entered a building on Prospect Avenue and smashed numerous windshields with damage totaling approximately $2,000.

Criminal Mischief:

On Oct. 1 — 7:57 a.m., Ptl. Winson investigated an incident where a vehicle was damaged on Hancock Street / Route 120. No damage amount listed.

Theft:

On Sept. 27 — 4:29 p.m., Sgt. Bernard is investigating the theft of several years of microfilm  from Rumford Avenue. Value of loss estimated at $1,008.

On Sept. 30 — 8:02 p.m., Sgt. Higley is investigating an incident of a bicycle stolen from Rumford Avenue. Value of loss estimated at $50.

Wanted

Richard Stickney, 27, of Rumford is wanted on a numerous warrants from two separate courts for unpaid fines on possession hypodermic apparatus, failure to report an accident and operating under the influence.
