NORWAY — Officials from the Progress Center say they need financial help to continue assisting clients on their paths to independence, personal growth and inclusion into the community through meaningful employment.

To help raise money, the Progress Center is holding a silent auction in conjunction with the annual Employer Recognition Night at Tuscany Hall in Paris on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

The Progress Center honors Maine employers who hire and support people with disabilities with an evening of recognition, fellowship and good cheer.

Officials are asking the public to join them from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in honoring these businesses while supporting individuals, through the silent auction, who are aided by the Progress Center. There will be appetizers, a cash bar, the awards ceremony and the silent auction.

For more information or to donate items for the auction, contact Priscilla at 743-8049, ext. 266.
