This is in support of Ryan Lorrain, an energetic young man who will be knocking on doors in Buckfield, Hartford, Paris and Sumner, seeking votes for state representative for District 94.

Lorrain has stated that he is in favor of allowing Mainers the same choice in health care as people have in other states. A few years ago, I sat at the polls in Paris, gathering petition signatures to allow Mainers the opportunity to purchase health insurance in other states. I heard from many voters that they could save a lot of money and they gladly signed.

In 2009, a bill was introduced, LD 290, “An Act to Allow Maine Residents to Purchase Health Care Insurance from Out of State Insurers.” Rep. Terry Hayes voted against it.

It is my belief that she does not look out for her constituents.

I am voting for Ryan Lorrain.
