AUBURN — The New Auburn Senior Citizens met for the annual shore dinner on Sept. 15 in the St. Louis Church basement hall. A variety of choices were offered, including lobster, fried haddock, fried shrimp, chicken fingers or lobster rolls. Volunteers served 174 dinners.
The group also met on Oct. 6 with President Virginia Levasseur presiding. October birthdays were noted and small gifts given. The 50/50 winner was Lou Samson; pot of gold, Conrad Levasseur, Rose Roy, Anita Simons, Pauline Lehouillier, Pat Duval and Romeo Lepage.
A light lunch was served and bingo was played. A harvest dinner is planned for Wednesday, Oct. 20, followed by bingo. Open bingo for seniors age 60 and over will be on Wednesdays, Oct. 13 and 27.
