Frederic and Pauline
Bonney
AUBURN — A surprise party was held Aug. 15 for Frederic and Pauline Bonney, hosted by the members and friends of the Riverside Drive Baptist Church, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The fellowship hall and tables were decorated with gold bells, streamers and flowers. A wedding picture was on display with the cake.
Mr. Bonney and the former Pauline Moulton were married Aug. 13, 1960, at the Court Street Baptist Church in Auburn. They had two children, including a daughter, Belinda Sue, deceased. In attendance were their son and wife, Paul and Betty Bonney from Yorktown, Va., and grandson and wife, Wade II and Sarah, and two great-grandchildren, Wade III and Maggie Jinright from Greenville, S.C. They also have two granddaughters who were unable to attend, Melody Bonney of Yorktown, Va., and Lauren and her husband, Bruce, and great-grandchildren Anna and Isaac Hartman of Meyersdale, Pa. The family hosted a dinner at a local restaurant on the evening of their anniversary.
Mr. Bonney retired from the Air Force with 21 years. He worked eight years as a contracted computer programmer at Gates Formed Fiber Products. He now volunteers his time providing gospel music at local nursing homes.
Mrs. Bonney was a homemaker while traveling with her military husband. After returning to Maine she worked 10 years as a manager, also at Gates Formed Fiber Products. She volunteers for the American Red Cross in blood services.
They are both active members of the Riverside Drive Baptist Church.
