LISBON — The town will host a meet the candidates forum from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, in the public meeting room at the town office.

The 2010 candidates for office are: Council at-large, Fernand Marcel Larochelle Jr., Dorothy Bernadette Fitzgerald, Richard Albert Graham; Council District 1, Gina Marie Mason; Council District 2, Roger Stanley Bickford, James Bruce Lemieux; School Committee, George Paul Caron, Traci Jo Austin; Water Commission, William Alex Bauer; Budget Advisory Board District 1, John Joseph Wierzbicki; and Budget Advisory Board District 2, Debbie Ann Barry. 

The forum allows the public to meet the candidates and learn where they stand on important issues such as taxes, capital improvements, school funding, municipal services and road improvements. 

The moderator will ask predetermined questions for each candidate to answer. At the conclusion of the set agenda, the moderator will open the floor to questions from the public. The public is invited to attend.
