PORTLAND — Abraham Ahmed Asaad-Hinkley, of Lewiston, left us on Monday, Oct. 11, after only being with us for 11 days.

He was born at Maine Medical Center on Oct. 1,  the son of Ahmed Asaad and Alicia Hinkley. When he passed he was surrounded by his family. Though he was only with us 11 days, his beautiful face will live on in our hearts for ever. He will never be forgotten.

He leaves his parents, Ahmed Asaad and Alicia Hinkley of Lewiston; his maternal grandparents, Duane and Debra Hinkley of Lisbon; his paternal grandparents, Mohamed Jabir and K. Kano of Lewiston; great-grandparents, Harold and Meta Hinkley of Wales and Beverly Leighton and her husband, Donald, of Durham; and many aunts uncles and cousins.

The family would like to send a very special thank-you to the entire NICU staff at Maine Medical Center.
