Ethan Fortin, 3, of Augusta looks to his mother, Kristin Fortin, during a luminary lighting ceremony on the front lawn of St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center on Tuesday evening to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Kristin Fortin was diagnosed last November with breast cancer and has just finished chemotherapy and radiation treatments. All luminaries were lighted in honor of loved ones who have been affected by breast cancer.
