AUBURN – The Auburn Rec Falcons varsity football team remains the only unbeaten squad in the Western Maine Football League after defeating Lewiston, 30-6, Saturday night at Walton Field.

Four different players put points on the board for Auburn. William “Ace” Curry returned a punt for a touchdown. Marshall Weiss threw a touchdown pass to Demetrius Rodriguez. Ian Mileikis and Cam Nadeau each contributed a rushing touchdown.

The Falcons once again played tough, physical defense.

G-NG blanks Freeport

GRAY – Gray-New Gloucester blanked Freeport, 20-0, in recent junior high football action. 

David Chanlatte led G-NG with 106 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Triston Herrod had a 68-yard interception return for a TD.

The G-NG defense held Freeport under 100 total yards.
