Heirloom-quality crocheted pieces made by local artisan Sherryl Couturier will be up for raffle at the New Gloucester Community Fair, Saturday, Oct. 16, at the New Gloucester Democratic Committee booth. The single prize will consist of three pieces, pictured, including a table fillet cameo doily in rose and ecru, a centerpiece doily in a sage wheat pattern and a lap robe in a complex version of the old-fashioned granny square design called “Summer’s End,” in shades of sage and violet.
