AUBURN — AudioBody is gearing up for the final stop — Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22-23, at Great Falls Performing Arts Center — on its 2010 Northeast Bank Tour.
“The integration of the new performance pieces along with the new lighting system has been phenomenal,” said Jason Tardy of AudioBody, a fusion of physical comedy and technology.
“Every show was different because we are constantly working on making it better and we can’t wait to show off our new material at our last shows of the tour,” he said.
Using a collection of futuristic instruments, brothers Matt and Jason Tardy of Buckfield take the stage to create the ultimate musical performance, only to find themselves at odds with their own unruly musical inventions. Sibling rivalry, technological mishaps and outrageous happenings collide on stage. The result is a show jampacked with comedy, stunts and upbeat music.
With more than 16 years of performing arts experience, the Tardys started the group in 2004. They have since released two albums and performed worldwide.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the performing arts center at 30 Academy St. Fans who purchase tickets online, at www.AudioBody.com, can name their price from $15 a ticket down to $1. Tickets purchased at the door are $10 a person (if available). All tickets are for general seating.
