Mike Michaud has been working hard to create and protect jobs in Maine. He knows what Maine needs and, as a congressman, he has delivered. For example, he has opposed NAFTA and other free-trade agreements and proposed replacing them with the idea of fair trade. He continues to lead the effort to reform the nation’s trade laws so they would favor American jobs more than overseas jobs.

As a former paper mill worker, he knows what it is like to work long hours to get the job done — that’s his work ethic — by working to secure investments in our paper mills, other industries and small businesses.

What we have with him is a person of common sense for the common man. Who could ask for anything more?

I am proud of Congressman Mike Michaud and I hope the majority of Mainers in the 2nd District agree.
