MONMOUTH — The Theater At Monmouth is preparing to tour the state from Oct. 25 through Nov. 14 with its production of “The Comedy of Errors,” Shakespeare’s comedy of mistaken identity and identical twins.

The production is part of “Shakespeare for a New Generation,” a national program of the National Endowment for the Arts in cooperation with Arts Midwest.

Performed by a cast of eight professional actors, the show will be performed at venues across the state, from opera houses to schools.

Set in the city of Ephesus, this production will utilize the rich, deep colors of ancient Turkey in the sets and costumes, and will feature music from the area. Directed by David Greenham, it will conclude with a celebration of dance and music.

Public performances will be staged at Cumston Hall on Nov. 5-6; and at Johnson Hall in Gardiner on Nov. 13. For tickets, visit www.theateratmonmouth.org or www.johnsonhall.org.
