The reason I support Kevin Scott, an independent candidate for governor, is because when I was listening to all the candidates interact with voters on the MPBN call-ins, he was the only one really using common sense, logic and innovation to really think of solutions to the problems he was presented with.

Furthermore, he was the only candidate who sounded like he was really feeding off the great ideas presented to him by the Maine voters. He was not closed off to ideas and he did not circle around to state the same old policies about the subject presented to him like others were doing.

He really is listening instead of pushing his own agenda, and that’s what Maine needs because we have many great thinkers who need a great listener to harness them.
