WATERFORD — The Waterford World’s Fair has scheduled a workday to prepare for winter at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, at the Fairgrounds on Green Road in North Waterford.
Some of the jobs include moving picnic tables and trash barrels, covering the bleachers and taking down fencing. Anyone with some free time is welcome to stop by the Fairgrounds.
There will be a chowder feast at 1 p.m. in the food shack for everyone working. There will be several kinds of chowders and brownie sundaes for dessert. At 2 p.m., there will be a regular meeting of the fair which everyone is welcome to attend.
