NORWAY — Beginning Monday, licensed massage therapist Rijah Newell of Bliss Healing Arts will offer body work at Country Expressions, 34 Alpine St.
Newell began training in the healing arts in September 2005 with the Core I Zero Balancing workshop sponsored by The International Alliance of Healthcare Educators. Zero balancing is a hands-on bodywork system designed to align a person’s physical and energetic bodies. It is considered at the leading edge of body/mind therapies for its incorporation of Eastern concepts of energy and healing into the Western scientific approach to body structure. Newell has just completed the Core II Zero Balancing workshop and is working toward her full certification.
Newell is also a certified polarity therapist and recent graduate of the holistic massage program at Spa Tech Institute in Westbrook. Polarity therapy is a hands-on healing art that works with the living science of balancing the energy fields of the body and the healing art of revitalizing the life force.
Newell is sole proprietor of Bliss Healing Arts, which offers a unique blend of zero balancing, polarity therapy, massage and reflexology. For more information, contact Newell at 890-0545 or visit www.passionatecreations.net.
