Worship service

SOUTH PARIS — Merry Shore will be the worship leader on Sunday, Oct. 17, at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St. The service is at 10 a.m.

Forest Perkins, church organist, will direct the music and Renee Wales will lead the Sunday School. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. All are welcome

Grange meeting

POLAND — Excelsior Grange 5, 446 Harris Hill Road, will host a three point meeting with guests from Norway Grange and Lakeside Grange in Harrison on Saturday, Oct. 16.

There will be a traditional harvest supper served beginning at 6 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7 p.m., with officers from Norway and the Lecturer’s program provided by Lakeside Grange.

All grange members are invited to attend.

Crafters wanted

BUCKFIELD — Crafters are needed for the Nezinscot Valley annual holiday craft fair, to be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Buckfield Junior-Senior High School, 160 Morrill St.

Cost for and 8-foot by 10-foot space is $15. Crafters should bring their own table. Call Meghan Andrews-Wright at 336-2557 to reserve a space.

Indoor sale

WATERFORD — An indoor yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Wilkins House, Plummer Hill Road, next to the church.

A large amount of yarn has been donated for the sale. Proceeds will benefit the Maintenance Fund.
