LISBON FALLS — A Funeral Mass honoring the life of Cecile Y. Gamache was celebrated on Wednesday at Holy Trinity Church in Lisbon Falls, following prayers at the Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home. The Mass was concelebrated by the Rev. Lionel Chouinard the Rev. Albert Roux. At the beginning of the Mass, Cecile’s children, Leland Gamache, Sandra Albert, Deborah Gamache-Merrill and Katherine Starbird draped their mother’s casket with the burial pall, which commemorates their mother’s Baptism into new life. During the Mass, the first reading was presented by her granddaughter, Michelle Gamache and the second reading by her grandson, Michael Bolduc. The offertory was brought to the altar by her son, Leland Gamache and her daughter, Deborah Gamache-Merrill. Words of remembrance were expressed by her grandson, Matthew Starbird. The Rev. Roux recited committal prayers at St. Ann’s Cemetery. Bearers were Cecile’s grandchildren, Christopher Gamache, Matthew Starbird, Brian Ryerson, Michael Bolduc and Rebecca and Rudy Albert. A reception of fellowship was held at the Ramada Inn, following the services at the cemetery.
