Dixfield Fire Company Captain Jason Hyde teaches 8-year-old Cody Moretto how to use a fire extinguisher during the Fire Prevention Open House held recently at the fire company and sponsored by the Dixfield and Peru fire departments. Sparky the Fire Dog and Smokey the Bear also made appearances at the event.
