SOUTH PARIS — Doris L. Leeman, 93, of Oxford, passed away Friday, Oct. 15, at the Maine Veterans’ Home in South Paris.

She was born Aug. 25, 1917, the daughter of Mitchell and Sadie Taylor Reynolds. Doris attended school in Oxford and was married to Thomas B. Leeman for 59 years before his death in Febuary 2007.

She worked many years at B.E. Cole Shoe Factory in Norway. Doris retired from Sandy River Nursing Center in Farmington. She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Steven and his wife, Nancy, of Lewiston, and Gordon and his wife, Marlene, of Oxford; her daughters, Nancy Valente and her husband,  Irving, of Lewiston, and Dorothy Nurmi and her husband, Bill, of Oxford; a stepson, Richard and his wife, Cheryl, of Temple; a brother, Gordon Reynolds and his wife, Lucy, of Bangor; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Doris was predeceased by a son, Peter; and a daughter, Janice.
