GREENE — Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District will offer an Energy Conservation Workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Greene Fire Hall, 184 Quaker Ridge Road.

The workshop will be hands-on and participants will make a storm window. All materials and tools needed to make the storm windows will be available.

The storm windows being built are designed to be installed inside the home. Before coming to the workshop, participants should measure the window where the storm window will be installed.

A registration fee of $5 must be received by Nov. 5 and will be applied to the cost of materials needed to make the window. The cost for a window will be $1 per linear foot.
