POLAND — Jake Molly rushed for a 6-yard touchdown in the third quarter to lift Wells to a 21-12 victory over Poland in football action Saturday.
Tony Whalen had an 85-yard run in the first quarter and Tyler Sturtevant produced a 2-yard run for Poland to put the Knights up 12-0 midway through the second half.
The Knights outgained the Warriors 194 yards to 167 yards, but a short punt into the wind by Poland in the third quarter gave Wells a short field. Wells put together a nice drive from the Poland 30 to score the game-clincher.
