SOMERVILLE (AP) — Maine fire officials say an 86-year-old woman has died in a house fire in the Lincoln County town of Somerville.

The Maine state fire marshal’s office said Pauline Danley died when a fire swept through her lakefront home off the Long Pond Road shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators said Danley, who lived alone, was found in her second-floor bedroom. The fire is believed to have started in the bedroom, but the cause has not been determined.
