On Nov. 2, people have two choices on how to vote. Either way, some will be happy, others hurt or angry.

If you want freedom to live your life and raise your family with little or no interference from the government, so that you may choose the food you eat, the doctor you see and the school and education plan you want for your children, you vote for that candidate.

If, on the other hand, you want a government that will be responsible for all your needs and dictate what food to eat, where you will be housed, what doctor to see, how your children will be educated because the government feels they are smarter than you and knows better what is best for you, then you vote for that candidate. But all those things are not free. Those things come with a price: higher taxes. If you wish that lifestyle, you must be prepared to lose some freedom of choice, because the more the government controls your life, the more freedom you lose.

I would rather be on my feet fighting for my freedom than living on my knees waiting for the next government handout. There is only deity to which I will get on my knees for, not any man or government.

People must choose wisely, but remember, whatever the government gives, it can also take away.
