Widows

RUMFORD — Widows or Widowers Sharing will meet at noon Friday, Oct. 22, for a potluck lunch at the Senior Citizens Center on Congress Street.

Entertainment will be provided by LeRoy LeBlanc, Ned Deroche and Ralph Arsenault. All area widow and widowers are welcome to join. Dues are $10 for the year. For more information, call Barbara Morse at 562-4225.

Class lunch

Pumpkin festival

RUMFORD — A Pumpkin Festival for kids will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at 320 Isthmus Road. The rain date will be Saturday, Oct. 30. The day will include face painting, crafts and more.

The cost is $5 and all proceeds will go to the River Valley Relay for Life through the Cancer Crusaders Relay team.
