Cribbage winners

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Oct. 14 were: first, Bob Cielinski and Bert Chenard;  second, Sue Dunlap and John Violette; third, Linda Dostie Scott and Aaron Burke;  fourth, Roger Briggs and Terry Chambers; fifth, Betty Ames and Gary David.

Sophomore night

LISBON FALLS — The Lisbon High School annual sophomore student/parent night will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, in the high school library.

The program will assist parents and students in learning about what Lisbon High School offers in terms of teaching students about careers, how parents can help in this endeavor, as well as future career activities and events students will be participating in over the next three years.

VFW meeting

LEWISTON — The Longley-Dionne VFW Post 9150 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at the Multi-Purpose Center. All officers and members are encouraged to attend.

Upcoming events include Buddy Poppies at Marden’s and Veterans Day activities, parade and ceremony at Veterans Park. Eligible veterans wishing to join the Post may contact Armand Bussiere at 688-2291.

Fall festival

LEWISTON — Montello Elementary School will host its annual Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the school, 407 East Ave. 

There will be food, raffle baskets, games and more.
