I am troubled by the “traditional” choices for governor this year. I am asked to choose between two extremes — a reactionary far-right Republican and an ultra-liberal Democrat who would continue the failed and deceptive policies of a Democratic administration.

It is the Democratic administration that has brought this state to the brink of bankruptcy.

Eliot Cutler brings a sense of balance to complex problems. He brings openness to solutions, whatever the source, whatever the party affiliation.

I will not waste my vote on the past. I will not waste my vote on fears.

Cutler offers a realistic openness to solve problems and I will vote for Eliot Cutler for the governor of the state of Maine. I will vote for him because I believe he will restore Maine as the state of practical and independent thinkers.
