Mainers need someone who knows what it’s like to be a hurting American.

As a day care provider, I see waste in places that continually takes me by surprise, but what comes to mind mostly is the statement, so overused, “We need to take care of the children.”

If we don’t, as Americans, start taking better care of American parents, the children are not going to have what they need … ever.

I know only too well what it’s like to be a single parent, a working parent and a terrified parent. It’s terribly frightening to feel that I never have enough to offer my children because the cost of living has gone up to such a horrifying degree.

I am voting for Paul LePage because I see a fighter as well as a compassionate man. I believe he will fight for Maine families.
