RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas J. Norris was celebrated Monday at St. Athanasius–St. John Church in Rumford with the Rev. Phil Tracy, Pastor, as the celebrant. Altar server was George Gionet and organist was Mark Belanger. Musiical selections were “Hosea,” “The Lord Is My Shepard,” “How Great Thou Art,” “God Bless America” and “Homesick” was sung by Chris Johnson. Readings were given by Kate MacFawn and Stephen Richardson. Eulogy was given by Kenneth MacFawn. Gift bearers were Chris DeSalle and Robert McConnell. Pallbearers were Kenneth MacFawn, Dan Kiley, Harry Bean, Bob Folland, Ronnie Bernard and Bud Brennon. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Tracy. Military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard of Augusta. Interment was in St. John Cemetery, Rumford. Arrangements were under the direction of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
