AUBURN — Author and publisher Patricia Gott will visit the Auburn Public Library to present “Write and Market Your Own Book” at noon Thursday, Oct. 21.

Gott has a proven track record mining her interests and experiences as a single mother, entrepreneur, horse wrangler and intrepid world traveler for the inspiration and subject matter of her books. At the presentation, she will discuss her writing process, how she markets her work and what aspiring self-publishers need to know to succeed.

The free brown bag lunch program will be held in the library’s Androscoggin Community Room. Attendees may bring a bag lunch if they like or order out at the Library Cafe, and the library will provide drinks and dessert.
