SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce announces that nominations are being taken for Citizen of the Year; Business of the Year; Employee of the Year; and Rising Star of the Year.

Awards will be presented at the annual chamber dinner and awards ceremony Jan. 29, 2011. Deadline for nominations is Nov. 19. Nomination forms are available at the chamber office, 4 Western Ave., South Paris, or go directly online at: www.oxfordhillsmaine.com and download a form.

The Business of the Year award recognizes dynamic products or services, contributions to the Oxford Hills region and community, market share, noteworthy industry achievements, and dedication to the well-being of its employees and associates. Only Oxford Hills chamber members are eligible.

The Employee of the Year is awarded to an individual who displays outstanding work ethic, a cooperative nature among fellow employees, and contributes to the success of the company for which they are working. Only Oxford Hills chamber members are eligible.

The Rising Star of the Year award is given to a business owner or employee who is “up and coming” and is positively contributing to make the Oxford Hills an exciting and dynamic place to live and work. Only Oxford Hills chamber members are eligible.

The Citizen of the Year distinction is awarded to an individual who has provided outstanding community service to the Oxford Hills over an extended period of time. Any resident of the Oxford Hills is eligible.
