As mayor of Waterville, Paul LePage has yet to tell us what he achieved there and, if elected, what programs he would cut. He has been endorsed by Gov. Haley Barbour of Tennessee. Does that really matter to people in Maine?

Someone has said that, nationwide, Libby Mitchell is the most qualified to be our next governor. She has worked for the people of Maine during her entire political career; for educational opportunities, community colleges, small businesses, health and the environment.

She has been endorsed by George Mitchell and Bill Clinton.

There is a feeling of anger and despair in the country with high unemployment and housing foreclosures. The same issues face other countries too; Ireland, France, Germany, Spain and Greece have had riots and bloodshed.

Libby Mitchell is ethical and tough; she listens.
