AUBURN — Danville Junction Road was closed Tuesday night while firefighters worked to cap a railroad tanker car that was leaking liquid petroleum gas, police Lt. Anthony Harrington said.

The tanker was parked on a dead-end rail spur, he said, and crews from Auburn Fire Department were at the scene. 

The area was not being evacuated, Harrington said late Tuesday night.
