Congressman Michael Michaud visited with Gold Star Mother Doris Leeman, a resident of the Maine Veterans Home in South Paris. Caregiver Dot Nurmi, who helps Leeman, is also pictured. Michaud was guest speaker at an event which recognized the 15th anniversary of the Maine Veterans Home. A Gold Star Mother Stone was also dedicated. Present for the dedication was Bethel Shields of Auburn, president of Maine Gold Star Mothers; Mary Andrews of Solon, treasurer; and Nancy Kelly, chaplain.
