Between 7 a.m. Oct. 8 and 7 a.m. Oct. 15 Lewiston police responded to 575 calls for service. Of those, 96 were motor vehicle stops.

Thefts

A resident of Russell Park Manor at 158 Russell St. had $48 stolen sometime before 8 a.m. Oct. 13.

A patron of the Bates Dining hall at 136 Central Ave. had their backpack containing clothing, a sleeping bag, and a Panasonic Lumix camera stolen Oct. 10 before midnight.

Two step ladders were taken from outside Altered Image Tattoos at 1384 Lisbon St. before 1 p.m. Oct. 12.

One 9-foot Fisher Minute Mount and one 8-foot Fisher Minute Mount plow were taken from a fenced-in area at Gendron and Gendron at 50 Alfred Plourde Parkway overnight Oct. 5-6. A gate lock was cut and a truck drove up to, and hooked onto one plow, took that one away, and then returned for the second.

A pink beach cruiser and a gray specialized mountain bike were stolen from beside a garage at 75 Androscoggin Ave. overnight Oct. 8-9.

An apartment at 93 Knox St. had an Xbox 360 taken from inside sometime between Oct. 7 and 10.

Motor vehicle burglaries

A vehicle parked at the Morning Star Inn at 1905 Lisbon St. was burglarized between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 10. Medications and cash were taken from inside.

A vehicle parked at 182 Lisbon St. was burglarized between 6 and 11:30 p.m. Oct. 13. Two Volfenhag speakers and a Lanzar amp were taken from the trunk.
