RUMFORD — Police responded to 64 complaints from noon Oct. 10 to 6 p.m. Oct. 17. Traffic stops are not included.

Arrests/summonses

Oct. 10 at 2:30 p.m. — Terri L. Ellis, 42, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld on River Street on a charge of failure to sign a uniform traffic ticket on an operating under the influence offense. Ellis was also cited on charges of operating beyond license restriction, possession of a schedule w drug and possession of drug paraphernalia from an OUI crash on Waldo Street.

Ellis was taken to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 4, 2011.

Oct. 11 at 1:32 p.m. — Scott Richard, 35, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. James Bernard on Congress Street with possession of marijuana. Richard is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec 7.

Oct. 12 at 12:55 p.m. — A 16-year-old Rumford boy was charged by Ptl. George Cayer with aggravated assault on Hancock Street. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 7.

Oct. 12 at 7:45 p.m. — Joseph Downs, 32, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard on Cumberland Street and Oxford Avenue on charges of domestic assault and violation conditions of release. Downs was taken to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 7.

Oct. 14 at 3:05 p.m. — Kaine Hodgkins, 22, of Roxbury was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard on charges of burglary and theft. Hodgkins posted $20,000 surety bail and was released.

Oct. 14 at 3:05 p.m. — Frederick Hodgkins, 51, of Roxbury was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard on charges of burglary and theft. Hodgkins posted $40,000 surety bail and was released.

Oct. 14 at 8:45 p.m. — Almond Bryant, 35, of East Andover was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard on charges of burglary and theft. Bryant posted $1,500 unsecured bail and was released.

Oct. 16 at 12:55 p.m. — Dean Watson, 39, of Mexico was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson on a charge of operating after suspension (OAS) on Rumford Avenue. Watson posted $800 unsecured bail is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 4.

Oct. 11 at 10:19 a.m. — Sgt. Bean is investigating the theft of an MP3 player and a video game valued at $180 from a residence on Oxford Avenue.

Criminal mischief

Oct. 11 at 1:58 p.m. — Sgt. Bean is investigating $50 damage to a window of a residence on Maple Street.

Theft

Oct. 14 at 9:38 a.m. — Cpl. Maifeld is investigating the theft of two shotguns  from a parked vehicle on Washington Street. The loss is estimated at $600.

Billie J. Lawton, 27, of Rumford is wanted on a South Paris District Court  warrant for unpaid fines on an operating after suspension conviction. The warrant was dated Oct. 13.
