Craft fair

HARRISON — The Bolsters Mills Ladies Guild will hold its annual Bayberry Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church on Bolsters Mills Road.

There will be artisans, crafters, a fiber spinner who spins colorful yarns, a chocolatier, a chair caner, a knitter, jewelry makers and handmade wooden toys. Oxford Hills photographer Robin Priest will be there with photos and gift items. There will also be holiday crafts and baked goods.

Refreshments and lunch will be served by the Norway Girl Scout troop.

Worship service

SOUTH PARIS — Ben Tucker will be the worship leader Sunday, Oct. 24, at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St. The service will begin at 10 a.m.

Forest Perkins will direct the music and Renee Wales will lead the Sunday School. The coffee hour will follow in the Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Girl Scouts

BALDWIN — Girl Scouts of Maine will host a parent information and registration meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Baldwin Consolidated School.

Girls and adults from the surrounding areas are invited to attend the meeting to find out about participating and volunteering in Girl Scouting. For more information, call Jeanie Duguay at 364-3639 or e-mail [email protected].

Coffee house

NORWAY — The Weary Club of Norway will host a coffee hour from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 385 Main St. All visitors are welcome.

Bridge group

WATERFORD — The Waterford Library will host an informal bridge group that will meet at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month, beginning Oct. 25, at the library. No partner is necessary.

Players with a basic knowledge of bridge are welcome. The goal is to have fun and learn from each other. The group will not meet in December. For more information, call 583-2729.

Holiday fair

HARTFORD — The Hartford Community Church Women’s Group will sponsor the annual Holiday Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Hartford Town Hall, Route 140.

There will be coffee, tea, cocoa, sandwiches, homemade cookies and fudge. There will be tables with crafts and a white elephant table, as well as many vendors.
