Fish fry

RUMFORD — The Rumford Lodge of Elks will hold a fresh haddock fish fry from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27. The menu will include Bill’s homemade beer battered fresh Maine haddock, French fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce.

Art exhibit

WILTON — Western Maine Community Action will open the “Comfort, Woe and Wonder” art exhibit from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28. Sixteen artists from Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties will exhibit at WMCA’s administration office, 20 A Church Street, East Wilton.

The exhibit will be on display through January 2011.

The eighth grade class will also host the second annual Fall Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, to benefit their class trip to Quebec. There will be crafts, baked goods, raffles, a chili cook off, face painting, games and food.
