FARMINGTON — Police are investigating a theft of services after a couple ran from a cab early Wednesday morning to avoid paying a $60 fare.
A young man and juvenile female ran from an L/A Cab, a taxi firm based in Lewiston, after the cab driver drove them to their destination on Pleasant Street at about 4:30 a.m., said Bonnie Pomeroy, secretary for Farmington Police Department.
The juvenile was found but the young man has not, she said later Wednesday morning.
The police report did not indicate where the taxi picked up the couple or how far they had traveled before reaching Pleasant Street, she said.
