LEWISTON — The Salvation Army has announced sign-ups for the holiday assistance program.

Residents of Lewiston and Auburn in need of help with Christmas may sign up at the Salvation Army, 67 Park St., on the following days: Monday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to noon; Tuesday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to noon; Thursday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 6 p.m.

Also, Monday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to noon and Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 5 p.m.

Those signing up should bring proof of income and identification for all in the household, such as photo identification, license, birth certificate or Maine Care card.
