“Bad news hits Social Security.” When I saw that on the front page of the Sun Journal it really turned my stomach. Last year was bad enough, with no raise in benefits, and now this year once more.
The top people in the country don’t care about the elderly. Our money makes it easy for them and they get our perks. That seems to make them happy. When it comes to sharing with us, forget it. What we need is not there.
All they seem to want to do is cut our benefits so that they can have more money.
We need money for heat, health care, food, etc.
If it comes to money for housing, the top dogs get it and no questions asked. The little people can’t have the money to live on; they can’t get ahead, but the top people can.
So, what I am saying is that we deserve to have a raise this year, even if they say no.
