LEWISTON — The Hacienda Del Patron, 838 Lisbon St., opened to the public in September but will hold a grand opening celebration on Oct. 28. There will be live entertainment, specials and the opportunity to enjoy a real Mexican feast that cannot be found anywhere else.

Owner Guillermo Fuentes and partners spent the past 10 years managing and owning the Fajita Grill in Westbrook. Originally from Mexico, Fuentes brings authentic Mexican cuisine that cannot be duplicated.

Eager to open a second venture in a more urban setting, Fuentes and partners chose the heart of the Lewiston-Auburn area. The dramatic interior design is part Mexican hacienda, part Old Havana.

The restaurant’s two private dining spaces are available for corporate meetings and events, as well as personal occasions such as wedding rehearsal dinners and anniversary parties.
