BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — Paul D. Webster, 81, of Brooksville, Fla., passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, at Hernando Hospice Care Center, with his family by his side.
He was born May 8, 1929, in Lewiston, the son of Albert and Margaret (McGuire) Webster. He was a graduate of Edward Little High School in 1948, and a veteran of the U.S. Army as a radio technician in Germany in World War II and Korea. On Oct. 8, 1976, Paul married Doris Whirley Dennis of Lewiston.
He worked at AT & T for 34 years, retiring in 1987 before moving to Florida. He was a lifetime member and past commander of VFW Post 1603 Auburn and Post 9236 in Hernando Beach, Fla., a member of the American Legion Post 153, New Auburn and Post 186 Brooksville, Fla., and Order of the MOC 25, Auburn and Chiefland, Fla.
Paul enjoyed traveling with Doris to Nashville, Pigeon Forge, cruises to the Caribbean and to family in Ohio and Maine.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Doris; daughter, Patricia (Richard) Turner, Greene; son, Stephen (Julie) Dennis, Huber Heights, Ohio; his five grandchildren, Kim Turner Robertson, Kelly Turner Freve, Bradley Dennis, Chelsee Dennis and Kyle Dennis; and his two great-grandchildren, Brendan Duguay and Trevor Robertson.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Gordon Webster; and sister, Ruth Jordan.
