ROXBURY — Andrew James Touchette, 77, died Thursday, Oct. 21, at his residence on Roxbury Road, Roxbury.

He was born in Roxbury, Sept. 11, 1933, the son of Louis and Emma (Noble) Touchette and had attended Roxbury schools. He had also served in the U.S. Army as a Spc. 4, including overseas duty.

Andrew had worked at Boise Cascade Paper Co. in Rumford for more than 40 years, until retirement from the maintenance department. He was married in Dixfield on Jan. 26, 1957 to the former Lorraine Cecile Hodgkins, who died May 25, 2009.

Survivors include daughters, Rosalie Farrington and husband, Robert, of Rumford and Cindy Touchette of Roxbury; sons, Barry and companion, Donna, of Rumford, Richard and companion, Bobbi Jo, of Dixfield, Mark of Roxbury and Andrew Touchette Jr. and wife, Cindy, of Dixfield; many grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Thibodeau and husband, Joseph, Linda White of Mexico, Kathy Talbot and husband, Steve, of Turner, Rosanna Seigle and husband, Richard, of Rumford and Gloria Hamel of Roxbury; and brothers, Gordon, David and Michael of Roxbury, Gary of Mexico, Donald of Rumford and Robert Touchette of Holliston, Mass.
