I was in need of clarification of a Maine law that could prove detrimental to my business. I called Sen. Deb Simpson and it became doubtful that there would be a return call.

So, I turned to Lois Snowe-Mello, who promptly returned my call and found me answers. She also talked with me in depth about the looming problems facing the state and we shared opinions.

It was a refreshing experience for me. It made me remember that it was always Snowe-Mello who took the time to listen to opinions — at the grocery store, the transfer station, by phone and through questionnaires.

As a small buisness owner, I don’t need a state senator whose only contact with me is to ask for my vote.

I want back what I had in Lois Snowe-Mello.
