AUBURN — Debbie Hemond, 51, of Minot passed away Oct. 23, with her mother by her side.
She was born in Southington, Conn., Nov. 29, 1958, to parents Charles and Evelyn Landers.
She enjoyed scrapbooking, and was an avid camper, fishing enthusiast, hard worker, loyal and true friend to her Moose Pond family, and Hunter, her camp buddy. She was a jack-of-all-trades and master of whatever she set her mind on, up to and including the end!! She truly did it her way.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Alfred Hemond; her mother, Evelyn Landers of Harrison; stepmother, Charlotte Landers; five brothers, Frank, and wife, Becky Landers, of South Paris, Charles and wife, Colleen Landers, of West Paris, Bruce Landers and partner, Erin McLaughlin, of Norway, Robert and wife, Tina Larrabee, of Oxford and Robert and wife, Jen Landers, of Norway; six sisters, Karen and husband, Stub Hibbard, of Poland, Rita Landers of South Paris, Sandra Landers and partner, Kenneth Tripp, of South Paris, Beverly Perkins and partner, Adam Hart of Minot, Hope and husband, Eric Hoyt of Oxford and Aletta and husband, Tim Roberts, of Norway; three children, Leo Hatch of Norway, John Hatch Jr. and partner, Becky Dailey, of Norway and Jennifer Hatch and partner, Brian, of Norway; and three grandchildren, Carlton, Camden and Brandon.
She was predeceased by her father, Charles Landers; and a brother, Richard Landers.
Debbie will be sadly missed by her husband, Al as well as all of her family and friends, and especially by her best friend Jane and her nephew Mike.
A special “thank-you” to the Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice nurses and aids, as well as all of the staff that cared for Debbie at the Androscoggin Hospice House.
