Amber Veilleux, 9, of Lewiston takes advantage of the Power Hour at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine Auburn/Lewiston on Monday to do spelling homework. The Power Hour is a resource for youngsters to get help with school work from Nick Tifft, youth resource coordinator. Veilleux said she likes going to the club after school because she catches up with friends and spends time after school playing board games after her school work is done.
