I am writing in the hope that voters of House District 105 (New Gloucester, Durham and part of Lisbon Falls) will support Ellie Espling on Nov. 2.

She has been a small business owner and community volunteer. She knows that changes are needed to reduce the burden of big government on businesses and lives. Government often neglects the personal liberties of some while trying to benefit others. Government control of health care is one example of this.

She knows that small businesses must be allowed to grow, and often big government hurts, not helps, the small business environment. When small businesses flourish, there will be increased jobs and opportunity for Maine people.

Ellie Espling is known in the community as a person of integrity and principles. People in the district can count on her to help make state government work.
