FARMINGTON — Several times a year, Efficiency Maine recognizes businesses for their energy-saving initiatives and has awarded Farmington Ford a certificate of recognition for its efforts to save energy usage and costs.

Recently, with the assistance of an Efficiency Maine incentive and working with an Efficiency Maine qualified partner, Farmington Ford completed a retrofit of its fluorescent lighting that will save the business at least 25 percent on its lighting bill.

Efficiency Maine would like to see more Western Maine businesses take advantage of its services and incentive programs.
