NORWAY — The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital will offer a “Pre-Diabetes? Take Action Now” program from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, at the Ripley Medical Building, 193 Main St.

Physical therapist Lissa Merrill, registered dietitian and diabetes educator Pat Watson from Stephens Memorial Hospital and program coordinator Kate Goldberg from Healthy Oxford Hills will present. They will teach participants proven ways to help prevent type 2 diabetes by staying active and managing weight.

Those attending should wear comfortable shoes. Registration is preferred. There is no charge for the presentation. For more information or to register, call 866-609-5183.
